How Council's street banner program can support your business
Our street banner program is your opportunity to bring colour, celebration, and community spirit to the Central Coast. With banner poles and stands available for public use, it’s easy to get involved and make your message seen.
The street banner program is designed to:
- Promote significant events, festivals, tourism, civic or community programs, as well as major economic development or sporting events of public interest throughout the Local Government Area (LGA)
- Visually enhance the streetscape of the Central Coast
- Create a sense of community and a sense of place for visitors and residents
- Foster inclusivity and community connection
- Stimulate local economic activity.
Banner types
There are two types of banners available. Each has its own application process and guidelines, so choose the best fit for your needs.

1. Street banner poles – vertical installations in prominent roadside positions at eleven locations for local activities.

2. Street banner stands – smaller units at six sites for grassroots initiatives.
Council banner sites are available for temporary use to publicise events and activities considered appropriate by Council. External organisations can apply to utilise banner sites when not in use by Council. Applications are required to ensure alignment with Central Coast Council’s Policy and Street Banner Guide.
