The Interim Administrator makes decisions on behalf of the community at Council Meetings. Additionally there are also Advisory Committees with community members who provide reports to Council. Council meetings

Ordinary meetings of Central Coast Council are generally held at 6.30pm on the fourth Tuesday evening of the month, in accordance with the Code of Meeting Practice adopted at the 22 February 2022 Ordinary Council Meeting.Council may convene an Extraordinary Meeting outside these regular times, for which public notification will be provided on this website.Mr Rik Hart is the Administrator for Central Coast Council, appointed by the NSW Government on 26 April 2021.

Local Planning Panel

The Central Coast Local Planning Panel (CCLPP) is an independent panel of qualified people to review and determine development applications for the Central Coast Local Government Area, providing increased transparency, integrity and confidence in the development application assessment process.The CCLPP determines a range of development applications on behalf of Council and provides advice on a range of strategic planning matters that are referred to it.The panel generally meets monthly on a rotating roster and comprises of four members:The ChairTwo professionals (with expertise in urban design, urban planning or other related field)One community representative selected from a pool of members appointed by CouncilLocal Planning Panel meetings, and associated tasks, are undertaken in accordance with the requirement of the Environmental Planning &
