10-Year Road Renewal Program
Extra $20million funding planned for Council’s road renewal programTo improve road conditions and address infrastructure backlogs, Council has allocated an extra $20million over the next four years in road renewals.This funding will fast-track road renewals across 23 suburbs that you told us were important and brings our total 10-Year Road Renewal Program investment to over $400million, ensuring safer, sustainable roads for the future.Road renewal works include resurfacing and rehabilitation, providing long-term solutions as part of the full life cycle of road maintenance and management. -
Wisemans Ferry Road Natural Disaster Recovery
2021-2022 natural disasters and storm events saw several sites along Wisemans Ferry Rd experience widespread damage to the road pavement and embankments.
Construction work to restore the road to its pre-disaster function and enhance its resilience to future natural disasters began in 2024 and is making great progress.

Central Coast Local Roads Package 2024
Central Coast Council has received $40 million from the Australian Government to deliver a Central Coast Local Roads Package, following a 2022 Labor election commitment. The funding package will see the delivery of 46 individual projects to be carried out over a four-year period, from 2023/24 to 2026/27.Projects will involve 45 Road Pavement Upgrades and one Road and Drainage Upgrade which will benefit roads across the Central Coast. -
