Factors affecting service delivery
While Council endeavours to consistently adhere to the outlined work schedules, various mitigating factors may impact the timely completion of maintenance activities. These include, but are not limited to:
- Adverse wet weather and storm events
- Prolonged dry weather and drought conditions
- Unforeseen machinery failures
- Limitations in available resources
- Prioritisation of works based on safety concerns
- Environmental considerations.
In the event that a scheduled service is missed, and it does not pertain to a safety-critical issue (which will be prioritised), Council will make every effort to ensure the same scheduled service is not missed consecutively.
