    The Information & Ideas Exchange Breakfast attracted business owners, commercial property owners and community organisations to:Find out about completed and planned projects and initiatives to revitalise the Toukley town centre.Plan what a Buy Local campaign might look like to benefit Toukley businesses.Share ideas to activate and improve amenity of the Toukley town centre.Given the success of the breakfast it is planned to hold regular Information & Ideas Exchange sessions.

    Flavours by the Sea

    Flavours by the Sea was held on Saturday 26 March from 11am – 3pm along the Terrigal Esplanade and proved to be an enormous success with an estimated 3,000 locals and visitors enjoying the live entertainment and activities.

    Community event for Chittaway Point and Berkeley Vale lakeside residents

    NOTICE:  Due to unforeseen cicumstances these events are postponed, more information will be available soon with new timings.  Do you live in the lakeside areas impacted by the recent flooding?The first step to being able to bounce back from a disaster is being connected to your community.Council is hosting a BBQ to connect people who live in lakeside areas prone to flooding.

    Popular carpark upgraded to improve access to waterways

    Council has upgraded the Chain Valley Bay boat ramp carpark  to provide safer and easier access to the waterways of Lake Macquarie for boating and fishing enthusiasts. The works in Mulloway Reserve included the construction of a new sealed carpark with formal line marking and signage to accommodate 12 car and 12 car and trailer parking spaces – including accessible parking and new pavement for improved accessibility, turning and approach bay, perimeter fencing and a derigging area.

    Avoca Beach carpark and road temporary closure 27 June to 9 July

    Notification of temporary car park and road closures – Avoca Beach Central Coast Council would like to advise that drainage improvement work will require the temporary closure of some roads/carparks in Avoca Beach from Monday 27 June to Saturday 9 July, weather and circumstances dependent.
