    Warnervale Road pathway improvements

    Warnervale locals will now benefit from a newly completed shared path on a section of Warnervale Road.The new path will provide improved pedestrian safety for the community, with increased connectivity to the existing footpath network between the new school and nearby housing development.The pathway improvement works included the installation of approximately 45m of shared path, along with the construction of a new drainage pit.To view other road and pathway projects view our interactive capital works map

    Community invited to have input in Picnic Point Reserve playspace upgrade

    Central Coast Council is inviting the community to provide input into the re-design and upgrade of the current playspace at Picnic Point Reserve, The Entrance.The existing playspace has reached the end of its functional life, and the new playspace will be designed and constructed in accordance with the Central Coast Council’s Playspace Strategy and to meet current Australian Standards. Funding for the upgrade is made possible with $190,000 from the NSW Government’s  Local Small Commitments Allocation Grants funding (LSCA Program) and $150,000 from Council. Council Director Community and Recreational Services Melanie Smith said the renewal of the Picnic Point Reserve playspace is part of Council’s Playspace Strategy, which continues to roll out across the Central Coast.“Playspaces are valuable areas for our community to socialise and for kids to learn through active play.
